In Japan, May 23rd was marked as a holiday called “Kiss Day” or “Kisu no hi” in commemoration of the very first release of a Japanese film that contained a kissing scene. My goodness, how scandalous!

One wonders which movie that was? The film, released on May 23, 1946, was titled Hatachi no Seishun.

Website Abema will stream all 12 episodes of the romantic anime Yosuga no Sora on their Anime Live2 Channel in honor of this special day. The marathon stream takes place three times a day from 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Abema also plans to stream other anime that had Unforgettable Kisses and the archive will be available for free for a week after that. From adult visual novel game to manga to anime

Yosuga no Sora is an adult Japanese romance, drama and visual novel developed by CUFFS (“Sphere”). On December 5, 2008 the game was released for Windows.

Due to its popularity, Yosuga no Sora was adapted into a manga series and received an anime series. On October 24, 2009, a fan disk titled Haruka no Sora was released. The fandisk contained new stories for several characters from the original game.

In 2015, Crunchyroll added the series to its streaming library. In 2016, Media Blasters released the anime on Blu-ray.

In four alternate universes, Haruka falls in love with four different girls

The story revolves around the Kasugano twins who are tragically orphaned when their parents are killed in a car accident. They decide to move to the country where they have fond memories of living with their grandfather and hope to rebuild their family.

The twins look very similar on the outside, but on the inside they couldn’t be more different. The fact that their personalities are so different causes them problems when trying to make new friends in the area who have certain expectations about their behavior.

Living in the remote mountain village of Okukozome-cho, Haruka Kasugano often reminisces about the brighter past as he struggles to find the spiritual strength he needs to care for and protect his ailing twin sister, Sora. Sora may have poor health and a petite build, but she is a brave girl.

As the story progresses, three more girls enter the picture – each with their own unique story. The rich, spoiled yet kind Kazuha Migiwa, the polite but sad Akira Amatsume and the depressed but hopeful Nao Yorihime.
