After eight years of supporting television roles, mostly in one-offs – mostly dramas or police trials – Bill Tangradi had a busy 2012. The Murder Party actor stepped back-to-back in Ben Affleck’s best film, Argo, for the much-anticipated “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2”.

In “Argo,” Tangradi stars in the film’s tense opening sequence as Iranian militants storm the US embassy in Tehran. He plays Alan Golacinski, an officer who prepares a room full of security personnel to fight off the rioters. He then attempts to resolve the situation peacefully and ventures outside, only to be beaten and forced at gunpoint to let the crowd into the embassy.

Tangradi also had a role in the teen vampire sensation Twilight, appearing in Breaking Dawn – Part 2, the series’ grand finale. With a defined beard and characteristic pale skin and red vampire eyes, Tangradi plays Randall, one of the many vampires who come to the Cullen family’s aid against the Volturi. On the red carpet, Tangradi was thrilled to be starring in the ‘Twilight’ saga. Breaking Dawn – Part 2 was a huge financial success, grossing nearly $1 billion worldwide and is Tangradi’s most notable film to date.
