Where Is Laurie Prange Now?

After 20 years of regular appearances on various projects, Laurie Prange’s latest credit is in 2009’s The Intervention, a suspenseful film about addiction and evil. Although Prange no longer acts, she looks back on her career with pride and fondly remembers the memorable moments.

Prange is a regular performer at conventions including the Williamsburg Nostalgia Fest and Happy Trails Virginia Style. These events allow her to mingle with fans, sign autographs and chat about the highlights of her years on different sets. In an interview with VictoryNOW Films and TV at the Happy Trails event, Prange humorously spoke about her passion for “never playing normal, always playing a quirky kid in trouble, playing ‘Gunsmoke’ a feral kid, blind, crippled, schizophrenic or died dying much.”

She also expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to share the screen with big names like David Cassidy, Anthony Quinn (“The Man and the City”) and Bette Davis (“The Dark Secret of Harvest Home”). The latter always provided Prange with tips and tricks, like not sitting under the hot lights and letting her makeup melt. Prange said, “I feel very blessed to have worked with the people I’ve worked with and had a good run.”
