Whatever Happened To Shelley Hack After Charlie’s Angels Ended?

Shelley Hack managed to fly without her “Angels” wings. After her run on Charlie’s Angels ended, she bolstered her acting resume with roles on Cutter to Houston, LA Law, Tales From the Crypt, and more. And she was so close to snag Markie Post’s role as public defender Christine Sullivan on “Night Court,” Post Patch later revealed.

But in the late 1990s, Hack left acting to focus on a career as a media consultant for post-conflict countries, where she helped bring people independent media sources as an alternative to the biased content seen on state television networks. “I did it for 10 years,” Hack told NJ.com. “I have traveled all over the world. It wasn’t a thing, it was a business. It’s a huge thing in a post-war country.”

After finally returning to the United States, Hack and her husband, Harry Winer, founded Smash Media, the production company behind popular Hallmark Channel holiday movies like Holiday Hearts and A Bramble House Christmas. And her match made in Hallmark Heaven evokes the “girl power” theme of Charlie’s Angels. “Hallmark brings a lot of young people into the herd,” she told Media Village in a 2018 interview. “Especially young women, which I love to see. I’m working on a project with a young author and two female executives; It’s just amazing and everything is happening in the nicest and most positive way, so I’m really enjoying it.”

As for the acting, that will remain in Hack’s review. “I quit acting a long time ago,” she said. “I feel like I made it. That’s what interests me right now and it’s really fun and fulfilling. It really is like I landed in heaven.”
