We Finally Know Which Marvel Disney+ Series Is The Most Watched So Far

At the Disney Upfront event on May 17, 2022, Kevin Feige took a moment to reflect on Marvel Studios’ fortunes on Disney+ over the past few months, releasing the opening trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and “Secret Invasion” (via Diversity). He also noted that “Loki,” a project he described as “brave swing,” according to Deadline, is the most-watched Marvel Cinematic Universe show on the platform to date. He also broke the news that the entire cast will be reunited when production on the highly anticipated second season begins sometime in the next few weeks.

The first season of “Loki” premiered on June 9, 2021, and by the time it wrapped its six-part run on July 14, it had drastically changed the MCU as we know it. Captured by the Time Variance Authority, the titular god of mischief (Tom Hiddleston) finds himself in a timeline-hopping adventure that will transform the universe. He befriends TVA agent Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson), encounters multiple variants of himself – mainly Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) – and disrupts the multiverse. As it ends on a crazy cliffhanger, the next set of episodes can’t come soon enough.

“Loki” is undeniably a compelling piece of Marvel media, and clearly one that fans couldn’t get enough of. One has to wonder how long it will remain at the top of the pile and, if so, which upcoming show will dethrone it.
