The US Backs The California Governor For Vaccination Drive For School Children

Dr. Fauci said he supports California Governor Gavin Newsom’s COVID-19 vaccination mandate for students.

Fauci agrees with Governor Newsom’s actions in California. People must understand that requiring vaccines in schools is not a new, innovative concept that is unique or special to COVID-19. This is something we’ve been doing for decades.

On Friday, Gov. Newsom declared the need for students in grades 7 through 12, marking California the very first state to do so. As Insider’s Charles Davis reported, it will go into effect on January 1, 2022, or July 1, 2022, depending on when the US Food and Drug Administration approves the COVID-19 vaccination for children.

He also stated that his children would be unable to attend school if they had not been vaccinated against other diseases such as “malaria, mumps, and rubella.”

According to Fauci, when we develop resistance to that, it’s as if it’s never happened before. It’s already occurring with other vaccines, so let’s try it with a serious illness.

Other administrators were opposed to mandating students to obtain vaccinations. West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice said there’s “no way” he’d make it a mandate.

I honestly feel such mandates only serve to separate us and further divide us “On Sunday’s “Face The Nation,” Justice stated. In terms of requirements, he doesn’t believe in encroaching on their liberties over and over again.

In terms of kids, he will continue to support them in any way he can because he genuinely thinks that the more people who get immunized, the fewer lives will be lost.

California is set to enforce the country’s first coronavirus immunization mandate for school kids, a move declared on October 1 that could prompt other states to follow suit. As many did after Gov. Gavin Newsom issued the first state-wide remain order in the United States in the early days of the global epidemic.

Mr. Newsom stated that this would not pertain to all children until the US government completed a thorough inspection of the vaccine for two age groups — 12 to 15 and 5 to 11 — which means students in the seventh through twelfth grades will most likely have to wait until July to get their immunizations. It will be much longer for students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade since the state has not certified a COVID-19 vaccination for that age bracket.

All children enrolled in public and private schools in California are required by law to receive ten vaccinations, with medical exceptions. California will offer exemptions for medical grounds, as well as religious and personal views, for the coronavirus vaccination.

The guidelines for certain exemptions will be drafted when the State receives public feedback. Any kid who does not have an exemption and refuses to receive the vaccination will be compelled to perform the independent study at home.

Over 6.7 million varieties of educational pupils in the nation’s most populous state would eventually be affected by the rule. Schoolkids in California are already required to wear masks.
