Stone Ocean trailer PV 3 reveals September 2022 Netflix premiere

The third trailer PV for the anime JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Part 2 has been released, revealing that it will premiere on Netflix worldwide on September 1, 2022.

The trailer was released by Warner Bros. Japan during their industry panel at Anime Expo 2022.

The second part consists of episodes 13 to 24 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean and will be pre-released exclusively on Netflix worldwide starting September 1, 2022.

The show will also air on TOKYO MX, MBS, BS11 and ABEMA on October 7, 2022 and on Animax on October 8, 2022.

The anime was first announced in April 2021 and the first 12-episode part of the anime began airing worldwide on Netflix in December 2021.

The OP theme song for the first half was “STONE OCEAN” by ichigo from Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets. The ED theme song for the first half was Welsh singer Duffy’s “Distant Dreamer”.

The main cast of the anime includes:

  • Ai Fairouz (Mikey in Tokyo Revengers) as Jolyne Kujo
  • Tomokazu Seki (Gilgamesh in Fate/Zero) as Pucci
  • Mutsumi Tamura (Kakashi Hatake in Naruto: Shippuden) as Ermes Costello
  • Mariya Ise (Killua Zoldyck in Hunter x Hunter) as FF
  • Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya Forger in Spy x Family) as Emporio Alnino
  • Yuichiro Umehara (Goblin Slayer in Goblin Slayer) as weather forecast
  • Daisuke Namikawa as (Hisoka in Hunter x Hunter) Narc Anastasia
  • Daisuke Ono (Erwin in Attack on Titan) as Jotaro Kujo

Toshiyuki Kato (Captain Tsubasa (2018)) is directing the series at Studio David Productions, with Kenichi Suzuki (Drifters) as executive director. Yasuko Kobayashi is in charge of the series’ scripts.

Masanori Shino is designing the characters and Shunichi Ishimotois is designing the stalls. Yuugo Kanno is composing the music.
