Spy x Family fans who have dreamed of being like Loid Forger will finally get a chance, or at least a chance to get as close to him as possible, with the new Anya Tamagotchi.

For those of you unfamiliar with the toys, they are wearable digital pets that owners raise and do everything from feeding them to playing with them and more!

While many Tamagotchi include more realistic features like the ability to get sick or even die, it’s unclear if Anya will have those features at this point.

The Spy x Family Tamagotchi is distributed by Bandai Co. and is scheduled for release in Japan on December 17, 2022. It’s unclear if it will be available worldwide, but it will also be available in online stores. The cost is 2,530 Japanese yen, which is about $19.47.

What is special about the Anya Tamagotchi?

The Spy x Family Anya Tamagotchi is special for a number of reasons, as she has traits specifically linked to the anime and unique to her character.

The Tamagotchi itself will come in two different colors for fans to choose from, namely Spy Green and Anyacchi Pink. Anya will have a number of different outfits, or “otfits” as she says, that users can transform her into, including her Eden Academy outfit, pajamas, or even a witch costume.

Like many Tamagotchi, she will be able to change her facial expressions to reflect her mood. It seems her crying face, shocked face, and even her infamous “heh” face will all be available.

With the new Anya Tamagotchi, fans can even feed her peanuts and play games like dodgeball with her. It’s easy to see how much effort has gone into making this digital pet feel as close to Anya Forger as possible.
