Read Time:1 Minute, 19 Second

The world changed drastically in the five years between Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, as half the population disappeared as a result of the Snap. But when fans see Hulk again in Endgame, Bruce Banner has found a way to combine the strength and size of his alter ego with his own intellect and personality. It’s a surprising development for the scientist, but it’s one that allows him to still be part of the action while continuing to advance his character arc. But She-Hulk Episode 1 shows that it was no easy feat.

Bruce tells Jennifer he’s spent much of his time alone in his remote Mexican lab funded by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) – and they even built a bar together so they can at least have some fun during a trying time can have. He even created a device to help him control both of his sides while also healing his arm after using the Nano Gauntlet. It’s great that Banner has been productive in his time, but it’s hard to believe he could have done more in the world.

Let’s face it, he could have helped Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) try to save the world from collapsing with the remaining Avengers. She’s not doing so well at the start of Endgame because of everything she’s been through and Banner could have been there for her. Wouldn’t it have been possible for him to experiment on himself at the Avengers compound? Come on Bruce, you were very close in Age of Ultron.
