According to a new study, cancer is studied with various analyses where it is traditionally differentiated by categories. This study is splintered into subcategories to unravel the variety of complexity within descriptors like; lung and breast cancers.

For example, the term “breast cancer” is encompassed by a wide range of heterogeneous tumours which varies with mechanisms, drivers, and genetics that targets the different therapies.

Researchers say that “the colon cancers are undergone with similar subdivisions” form many years the colorectal cancers stood as a third most cancer treatment in the United States. The second most cause in deaths with cancer-related. This study has given some astonishing findings to the experts. Colon cancer cases are more among women compared to men and the cause of the same is still under research.

According to the analysis of cancer institutes, they estimate that 149,500 are the new cases where among 53,000 are reported as deaths in this year 2021. This makes the experts worried about the situation and need to have more research to curb the disease.

Researchers had learnt the cancer study to explain the colon right segment mechanism in men as well as women after going through the figures of diseases at various institutes. This ascends the abdomen on the right side and differs from cancers which are located within segments that descend on the left side of the abdomen. The research was conducted on various participants with different conditions and health backgrounds at various ages.

Researchers found that different outcomes are recognised from different locations. The people who are affected with RCC (right-side colon cancer) are with higher chances of 20 per cent deaths compared to LCC (left-side colon cancer) which is a big number.

On further studies of cancers, scientists observed that LCC is split with differences found in women and men such as; 48 and 52 per cent. But RCC is detected more deadly in women with 62 per cent and males with 38 per cent.

Patients and surveys questions that why do RCC and LCC differ in their symptoms? Those types of questions are analysed by Dr Caroline Johnson. She began the research related to colorectal cancers. On this note, she focused on the metabolites used in human health role, especially in colon cancers.

Dr Johnson id a member of the CDC group stated that “molecules and metabolites are formed during the metabolism process” they are produced by hormones, diet, microbiomes, environmental factors, and genetics.

The study based on the metabolites has interacted with metabolomics, and Dr Johnson is an expert in that study. She said that “metabolites pass the information on biological processing with sample tissues” she added, “tumours are followed by a metabolic activity to make the metabolites which help in cell growth” She and her team done their first study and noted that “metabolomics is used to explore the mass spectrometry by marking the differences of RCC in between men and women.

The above stamen will work to extract the metabolites from the tumour samples, this process undergoes centrifuging and liquefying. In this study, they noted that “proteins sink, and metabolites float”

The research is discovered over 20,000 variables which are separated into different groups. This survey is looking for connections and patterns for metabolite pathways that carry a link with shared networks.

For future researches, directions are included where “oestrogen and their receptors are used as protective factors at odds with colon cancer” this protection will be lost by the approach of menopause. This process regulates the KRAS pathway in patients and works as hormonal therapy.
