According to the official trailer, what we’ve been shown so far is a combination of in-game cinematics and gameplay. Although it’s quite difficult to know which is which, especially thanks to all the quick edits and beautiful graphics, it’s safe to assume that the game will follow the trend set by the Resident Evil 2 & 3 remakes. Like those games and the original Resident Evil 4, this remake will likely be in a third-person perspective, allowing players to basically hide behind Leon’s shoulders when something inevitably creepy happens.
On top of that, fans can reasonably expect to have a long history of crafting cures with herbs, carefully managing their inventory, and hopefully enjoying plenty of modernized quality of life improvements as well. For those anticipating a first-person view like the recently released Resident Evil: Village, their wish will likely be granted in the form of PSVR2 content that Capcom has planned.
