What would you do if a weird feline creature said they would grant your wish in exchange for you becoming a magical girl? Would you use the wish for yourself or someone else?

And what would you do if you found out the truth? I don’t know when I first heard about Puella Magi Madoka Magica but I finally checked it out and it’s awesome!

Join me as I rhapsodize about this timeless treasure, and remember: don’t trust the cat!

Don’t trust the cat!

The first Magical Girl anime and also the first anime I watched was Sailor Moon. Cardcaptor Sakura was second, Eternal Alice was third, and now I’ve finally seen Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

If you enjoy looking for spooky things to watch, you’ve probably heard of Madoka Magica and its sequels/spinoffs/movies. But you wouldn’t guess how dark this anime is based on the above images and the OP.

And that’s how the Magica Quartet wanted it! So there will be some spoilers from this point onwards. Episode 1 began on a spooky edge, which is open to interpretation as the season progresses.

Did she dream of a monster fighting a young girl, or did she remember a past life? Anyway, Madoka will soon meet Homura and their life will never be the same.

In the fictional town of Mitakihara, Madoka is a typical 14-year-old girl. She walks to school with her friends Sayaka and Hitomi and often goes to the music store with Sayaka after school.

But this routine will cost her; As she tries to listen to music, Madoka hears someone calling her asking to be rescued. So Madoka wanders into a restricted area and finds a badly injured feline creature.

She also sees that Homura is the one who hurt it and is wearing different clothes than her uniform. This encounter will set most of the dynamic between Homura and the other girls as Sayaka and Madoka wander into a maze trying to escape Homura.

In the maze, they meet Mommy, who over time becomes their role model and tries to teach them what it means to be magical girls. And if you haven’t seen the anime yet, please watch it before reading the rest of the article.

Would you trade your soul for a wish?

I haven’t seen/read the rest of the Madoka Magica series so I’ll stick with what Madoka Magica confirmed. You should only make a wish if you are sure that it is right.

Desires are powerful things and crucial to becoming a Magical Girl. You must tell Kyubey, the feline creature, your wish before he can make you a Magical Girl.

Consent is the name of the game, but make sure you give it plenty of thought before you decide because you can’t take it back. Kyubey doesn’t lie, but he won’t tell you everything if you don’t ask the right questions.

He’s not evil, but he’s not on the magical girl’s side. So don’t whine to him when your friends turn into monsters.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica takes everything you know about the magical girl formula and throws it out the window. The art style of witches, familiars, and mazes is like looking at a child’s craft box.

But even the normal world is mysterious. So you should pay your attention to this anime when you see five girls being marginalized and dying.
