The coronavirus first wave started spreading from China in December 2019, and it started spreading to all countries, now it is at the stage the whole world is affected by this deadly virus. The same first wave continued till October 2020; then, once the spreading of the virus was slowed down, a second wave hit all over the world. The effect of the second wave is far more dangerous than that of the first wave. In the first wave, though many were infected and many died, the majority of them recovered. But the second wave of Coronavirus is spreading like wildfire, and it is becoming difficult to control. It is the same situation in almost all countries.
President Joe Biden To Provide 10% Of Vaccination To Other Countries
As per the news reports, the United States of America stands at the top of the chart, and following that is India. The third most affected country is Brazil which is followed by France and Turkey. As per the reports, the current total affected cases is 154 million, and the total number of deaths is 3.22 million cases, and the recovered cases are around 90.5 million cases. Even though the recovered cases are high compared to the death rates, we cannot let the people die because of unattended treatments or due to racial discrimination or lack of medical facilities. It is the responsibility of every human being to help each other.
It is widely known that the United States of America has one of the world’s largest medical facility in the world. Even though the government of the United States of America is doing everything to help its citizen to stay protected from the Coronavirus, people are getting affected despite the restrictions, safety measures, guidelines, and vaccinations. One of the officials of the White House, Andy Slavitt, tweeted that “by July 4, 10% of the vaccinations produced for the domestic use will be exported to other countries along with the vaccinations produced for the export to other countries”.
Also, as per the reports, India is facing a serious coronavirus outbreak in the world and it is pressuring the western countries to help India in times of need. It is also reported that President Joe Biden spoke to the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi about the needs and also promised to help what the country needs the most, which is the material required to make the vaccinations for the Coronavirus.
Biden’s Administration said that they are ready to take action if the Food and Drug Administration authorizes Pfizer’s vaccine for Coronavirus for children aged between 12-15 years, which the administration is expecting to approve by the early of next week. President also mentioned that he wants the American parents to know that the government is ready to take action by making more than 20,000 pharmacy sites across the country vaccinate the adolescents as soon as the Food and Drug Authority grants access.
Some experts questioned the morality of expanding vaccination for young people which lack in other countries. They also mentioned that we should not prioritize people as they do in other countries like India as they are currently providing vaccinations to the age group 45 and above.
