The episode begins with a flashback from Hawk’s point of view. When Hawks was a kid, he thought of “heroes” as something fictional, like characters in an anime. Hawks had a dead father who killed a man for pocket money and a mother who lived in a state of paranoia for harboring a lawbreaker.

Later, when Hawks’ father stole their car and tried to escape, Endeavor captured him. This was the moment when Hawks’ fantasy became a reality and he began to admire heroes and dreamed of one day becoming one.

When Hawks finally convinced his mother that they should join the Safety Commission, they were given a whole new identity, but had to sever ties to the “Takami” name.

Back in the present, Best drives Jeanist Hawks to his house so he can find out if his mother was the one who passed the information about his past to Dabi.

When Hawks arrives at his house, he finds that his mother is not there and that she left an apology for revealing her past to Dabi. However, Hawks explains that he still has something to “clear up” about his past. Could that mean his father wasn’t Takami after all? Who is Hawks’ real father, if that’s the case?

Meanwhile, the towns become chaotic as the cops are busy tending to escaped prisoners. Civilians try to take matters into their own hands but end up losing their confrontations with the villains. This reduces the population’s belief in heroes. The heroes who once had respect are not hated and decide to retire.

What is the plot of the Paranormal Liberation War Arc?

The Paranormal Liberation War is a heroic operation in which the Hero Public Safety Commission and the Police ask Heroes and the Hero Course Trainees to take down the Paranormal Liberation Front.

After the League of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army merge and form the Paranormal Liberation Front, Deku’s nemesis – Tomura Shigaraki – contacts Dr. Kyudai Garaki and asks him for even more power, and the doctor agrees to grant him the power he desires. dr Garaki warns Shigaraki that the medical process will take four months and he will suffer hellish torment, but if he survives he will gain power greater than his master’s.

In the meantime, the Hero Public Safety Commission and the police are doing what they can to prepare for this imminent threat. Thanks to Eraser Head and Present Mic, Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi is able to get information about the League of Villains from the captive Nomu Kurogiri. The hero Hawks continues to work as a spy for the Commission within the MLA, gathering vital information about the Paranormal Liberation Front and when they intend to attack.

The commission compiles all the gathered information and discovers who the main leaders of the Paranormal Liberation Front are, how many heroes are loyal to the rogue organization, where their hiding places are and finally even Shigaraki’s whereabouts. Shigaraki is hidden in a secret area in Jaku General Hospital. dr Garaki, the hospital’s founder and current CEO, is an ally of All For One and the mastermind behind the founding of the Nomus.
