What is the plot of Mob Psycho 100 III?
The story will explore new developments in Mob’s school life and his part-time job as an exorcist. Mob, Aratake Reigen, and the newest member of their team, Katsuya Serizawa, handle the bizarre requests coming in at Spirits and Such Consultations.
For those who need a refresher on who Katsuya Serizawa is – he is a powerful Esper and was one of the most important members of Claw. Because he suffered from anxiety, he stayed in his room and never went outside because his psychic powers became uncontrollable. This changed when Touchiro went to his room and gave him an umbrella so he could go outside while still feeling safe “inside”. The umbrella became his primary weapon and he was later named one of the Ultimate 5 members. After the Claw World Domination Arc, he joins Mob and Reigen.
Meanwhile, the giant broccoli tree created by Mob’s powers towers over the city center and is revered as the “divine tree” by the city’s citizens. The Psychic Helmet cult is gaining popularity and around this time Ekubo mysteriously disappears. All signs point to something fishy going on in the broccoli tree and Mob is off to investigate.
Shogakukan Magazine and the publisher of Ura Sunday also tweeted the announcement that those who can’t watch Mob Psycho 100 III on TV can watch it through Amazon Prime.
