New York Metropolis is establishing quarantine checkpoints at “key entry factors” alongside major bridges and tunnels to town to display vacationers coming from greater than 30 states with dangerous coronavirus outbreaks, Mayor Invoice de Blasio stated on Wednesday.
“Vacationers coming in from these states will likely be given details about the quarantine, they are going to be reminded that it’s required, not non-obligatory,” de Blasio stated at a press briefing. “They will be reminded that failure to quarantine is a violation of state legislation and it comes with critical penalties.”
