Johnson & Johnson introduced Wednesday that it’s going to develop and ship 100 million doses of its coronavirus vaccine for the U.S. in a deal totaling greater than $1 billion.
The deal offers the U.S. the choice to order a further 200 million doses, the corporate stated.
“We’re scaling up manufacturing within the U.S. and worldwide to ship a SARS-CoV-2 vaccine for emergency use,” stated Paul Stoffels, chief science officer at Johnson & Johnson, in a press release.
