Hunter x Hunter Togashi Yoshihiro Exhibition -PUZZLE- details exhibits

The organizers of the Togashi Yoshihiro Exhibition -PUZZLE- (冨樫義博展 -PUZZLE-) which will be held on the 35th Anniversary of the legacy of HUNTER x HUNTER / YuYu Hakusho mangaka Yoshihiro Togashi, have revealed more details about the exhibits and merchandise.

-PUZZLE- will open to the public in Tokyo on October 28, 2022, and will also tour Osaka and Fukuoka in the future (the exact dates have not yet been announced). The Tokyo -PUZZLE- exhibition ends on January 9, 2023.

Togashi Yoshihiro Exhibition -PUZZLE- exhibits at a glance

Showcasing more than 350 original drawings, color illustrations, and manuscripts, the Togashi Yoshihiro exhibit – PUZZLE – includes three separate areas: the Yu Yu Hakusho Area, the Hunter x Hunter Area, and the Level E Area, each named after their manga of the same name are titles.

The Yu Yu Hakusho area

The Yu Yu Hakusho area will feature a series of original manga manuscripts and recognizable scenes from the legendary manga series celebrating its 30th anniversaryth anniversary this year.

A specially arranged action scene featuring the four main series characters – Yusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei and Kurama – will be the highlight of the area.

The HUNTER x HUNTER area

The HUNTER x HUNTER area will feature exhibits that focus on Gon’s growth but also include his friends. Unforgettable scenes from the hugely popular HUNTER x HUNTER manga, which was recently remastered, will be featured. The entire area will be decorated with Mizumi style glass and special effects for a complete experience.

The Level E area

The Level E section features episode by episode detailing the interaction between aliens and earthlings, focusing on the manga’s main character, Prince Baka Ki El Dogra. The area will feature complex multimedia effects that create a sense of a distorted time-space continuum.

The official website for the exhibition has added a brand new section titled Merchandise, which previews sample merchandise that will be available to PUZZLE visitors. Pictured above are some items sold during Togashi Yoshihiro’s previous exhibitions.

Togashi Yoshihiro Exhibition -PUZZLE- Event Information

The Venue for Togashi Yoshihiro Exhibition -PUZZLE- is Mori Arts Center Gallery (Roppongi Hills Mori Tower 52F), Roppongi, Minato, Tokyo. Hours of operation are 10am to 8pm JST (open 7 days a week for the entire duration of the event).

The Togashi Exhibition Tokyo Executive Committee is the organizer; The Weekly Shōnen Jump editorial team handles the planning and collaboration, while Kyodo Printing and eplus handle the sponsorship.

Three different ticket designs are available: the first featuring Hunter x Hunter original artwork, the second featuring Level E original artwork, and the third featuring YuYu Hakusho original artwork. Tickets will be distributed at random – unfortunately visitors cannot select their preferred design.

A collaboration café commemorating the Togashi Yoshihiro exhibition -PUZZLE- will be open next to the exhibition site for a limited time.
