It seems fairly common for the stars of popular TV shows to receive compliments from fans who recognize them in public, but Brianne Howey didn’t expect this to happen in the middle of a marathon. But that’s exactly what happened to the actress when she was on honeymoon with her husband in Berlin.
During an appearance on “The Tonight Show,” Howey told Jimmy Fallon about the bizarre fan interaction. “A marathon just happened to be running past our hotel,” said the Ginny & Georgia star. “So my husband and I stand there and watch the marathon, and this very nice grown man runs out of the marathon and comes up to us and tells me how much he loves the show.” While surprisingly enough, one fan who was about to run a marathon, Howey was also amused by a confident remark the man said. “He’s like, ‘I know I’m not your target audience, but I love the show,'” she recalled, drawing laughs from the audience.
The popularity of “Ginny & Georgia” has continued to rise since Season 2 ended, and it’s likely that this fan interaction won’t be the last time someone acknowledges Howey for her work on the show. However, staying with the actress for the foreseeable future was certainly surprising enough.
