The Mandalorian was the first Disney+ series to be set in a galaxy far, far away, and it was an instant hit when its helmet-clad hero hit the big screen. Jon Favreau created the series and plays Pedro Pascal as the voice (and sometimes helmet-bare face) of “Mando” (aka Din Djarin), who decides to adopt Grogu as his foundling after recognizing the people who hired him have to get him. have bad intentions towards the young person.

Star Wars fans have speculated as to whether or not Grogu was actually “Baby Yoda,” but as it turns out, the events of the series take place after Yoda’s time, meaning it’s more likely to be a descendant of Yoda.

What is the plot of Zen – Grogu and Dust Bunnies?

The episode begins with Grogu hovering about a foot off the ground in a meditative pose with his eyes closed. Since Grogu is in a deep meditative state, he doesn’t notice the dust bunnies surrounding him until one unceremoniously chops off his head. Realizing that he is surrounded by dust bunnies, Grogu tries to escape from them, but the dust bunnies persistently follow him. Grogu turns to face the nuisances and watches as they pile on top of each other until they reach his size. Then, to his surprise, the Dust Bunnies present Baby Yoda with a large flower, which Grogu wins over.

I happened to see this short film in the room with my cat who walked straight towards the screen and put her paw on the screen due to the floating dust bunnies. This anime short film is definitely pet friendly!

Studio Ghibli fans may recognize the Dust Bunnies from the movies My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away.

  • Director – Katsuya Kondo (Kiki’s Delivery Service, Ponyo, Earwig and the Witch Character Designer)
