The upcoming detective anime Fuuto PI will have two theme songs – the result of two different collaborations with famous Jrock artists. The main theme, titled Tsumi to Bats to Angura (Sin, Punishment and Underground), is a collaboration between Koji Kikkawa and Mitsuru Matsuoka.
Koji Kikkawa played the role of Kamen Rider Skull (Sokichi Narumi) and was nicknamed “Oyasan” in Kamen Rider W. provide the choir.
Mitsuru Matsuoka, who played the role of Katsumi Daido/Kamen Rider Eternal in the movie Kamen Rider W FOREVER AtoZ/Gaia Memory of Fate, will write the lyrics and sing the song. It’s important to note that these men are not only voice actors, but also have great musical talent.
Matsuoka wrote the lyrics for a song and I worked on its composition. Matsuoka will also sing the song. It has a grown up appeal and I think people will want to dance while listening to it. Everyone in the studio enjoyed hearing it. Kamen Rider is immortal!
Koji Kikkawa commented on Mitsuru Matsuoka’s official website
The song Sin, Punishment and Underground is packed with love for upcoming anime Fuuto PI and love for Kamen Rider W. I hope it will make a great impression on fans of Kamen Rider W and Fuuto PI. Have fun with my new song Sin, Punishment and Underground.
Matsuoka commented on this on his official website.
Jrock duo Aya Kamiki and TAKUYA (collectively known as Big Gadgets) will return to the Kamen Rider franchise to sing the opening theme. In the TV anime series Kamen Rider W, they performed the opening theme titled WBX (W-Boiled Extreme). Now they will perform the new opening theme song for Fuuto PI entitled Private Eye.

Will Shotaro and Philip be able to unravel the mystery behind Tokime?
Set after the events of Kamen Rider W Returns: Kamen Rider Accel, Fuuto PI’s story revolves around two private detectives working at the Narumi Detective Agency. Shotaro Hidari teams up with Raito “Philip” Sonozaki, the sole survivor of the Sonozaki family – their descendants have the ability to access the Gaia Library.
Shotaro and Raito can team up to become a superhero named Kamen Rider W whose mission is to protect the city of Fuuto from monsters created by Gaia Memories called “Dopants”. Their boss, Akiko Terui, often joins them in their investigations when they solve cases, along with her husband Ryu, who is a member of the police force and secretly Kamen Rider Accel.
When Shotaro encounters a beautiful young woman with pink hair who is being attacked by dopants, he immediately does his best to save her. Afterwards, he discovers that she has lost her memories and only remembers her name “Tokime”. Shotaro decides to help her by giving her a job as an assistant at her agency. As Shotaro and Philip solve more cases, however, they begin to realize that Tokime has a strange connection to one of the mysterious monsters known as the Aurora Dopant.
Fans are so excited for the upcoming anime Fuuto PI that they even made a fake trailer. It’s so well done that at first fans thought it was really a second trailer promoting the series! But it has the wrong opening song. Maybe it leaked video clips though. What do you all think? You can check out the fake (leaked?) trailer here:
