There’s no announced release date for Emilia Perez beyond January 2023. With filming set to begin in the second quarter of 2023, there’s a chance it could hit theaters towards the end of the year. A more likely scenario is 2024 – especially at selected international festivals.

One of these controversial festivals is Cannes; The event, one of the most discussed film festivals in the world, has already been warmly welcomed by director Jacques Audiard. His works have graced several additions to the festival; A much-discussed offering, “Rust and Bone,” showcased the talents of award-winning actress Marion Cotillard (via Festival Des Cannes).
