Boruto just revealed the secrets of how to defeat Eida in Chapter 70 – but the risk could be the end of the free shinobi world.
In the Boruto manga, the appearance of Eida, a female robot with clairvoyance – and the ability to perceive virtually everything that has happened in the past since her creation – shocked Konoha. Their presence gave Code an advantage in attacking the Hidden Leaf. Eida society supported him in attempting to kidnap Boruto to sacrifice the child to the Tentails. Anything to bring the tree of God back to life and dry up the earth.
All of this is part of an uneasy union. Eida slapped Code and offered Kawaki in exchange for making the youth her soulmate. However, just as Eida was unbeatable, Chapter 70 Boruto provided Shikamaru with crucial information that proved the means to defeat her lay only in his backyard.
The Secrets of Eida
It happened when Code stormed the village and teleported to steal Boruto to use his Otsutsuki DNA. However, things went wrong when Shikamaru and Amado summoned a risen delta to help them. Luckily, Eida came and used her power to imprison Delta and buy Amado time to force Code to remove his restrainers. That distance gave him his store of limitless Otsutsuki power.
Shikamaru attempted to negotiate with Eida, assuring that Konoha would take her in for a possible relationship with Kawaki. Shikamaru used his psychic connection with Ino to have her close the chamber. He did this because he didn’t want Sasuke or Naruto to come in and be enslaved. Amado also acknowledged that Kawaki and Boruto could not become puppets.
Shikamaru was surprised because Amado had never said it before. Aside from Eida’s family being immune as they have Otsutsuki DNA from Isshiki’s work on Kawaki and Boruto which Momoshiki possesses, Eida was never able to capture Isshiki and why he was able to decommission her.
In other words, Boruto and Kawaki could use their abilities to eliminate the bot. Unfortunately, she teleported away, preferring to work with Code and bring Amado back to her ice fortress as a prisoner.
The likely demise of the shinobi world
Shikamaru will most likely persuade Naruto to send both teenagers on a quest because everyone else is a risk. The difficulty is that Amado cannot be trusted since he hides secrets. Shikamaru is doubtful as Amado implanted the new karma on Kawaki without the boy’s knowledge and withheld information about Eida and other initiatives he carried out for the Kara terrorists.
Why is everyone else a risk? Eida has the unparalleled power to make anyone fall in love with her. Even Naruto is powerless against this ability. Code, for example, was charmed by her attraction and has become nothing more than her puppet.
Also, Eida is the human equivalent of the world wide web of the shinobi world. It may sound too unbelievable, but she knows what’s happening around the globe. With her clairvoyance, she can see everything that is going on in the world and everything that happened before she was born.
Despite his cynicism, Shikamaru has no choice but to use the boys in a catch 22 situation. You must recover Amado and stop Eida, but doing so would give Code two possible casualties, potentially leading to the apocalypse. Ultimately, Konoha has to take this enormous risk. However, as Boruto and Kawaki are more aware of their strength, it could work to their advantage and dismantle their latest threat to peace in the free ninja world.
