In an August 13, 2022 Instagram post, Mike Wolfe dropped an important clue that production on season 24 of “American Pickers” has begun. “The @americanpickers crew was busy at @thirdmanpressing in #detroit yesterday. Can’t wait for y’all to see what we have up our sleeves with Jack,” Wolfe wrote, accompanied by a photo of the cast and crew standing in front of Third Man Pressing the antique archeology wagon next to them. Many in the comments section were quick to assume they were filming season 24, but at the time of writing this, confirmation that another series of episodes is coming is nowhere to be found.
Hopefully by the end of Season 23 of History’s “American Pickers” we’ll have news on the fate of Season 24. After all, the show has fans around the world who would love to see a sequel, and Mike Wolfe is right there with them. In a 2020 interview with CBS News, he explained that filming the production is a joy — not just for the items, but for the people who own them. When Wolfe confirmed to interviewer Lee Cowan that they are the source of his passion behind it all, he spoke about the collectors’ thoughts and how fascinating they have proved during his years as a television collector.
While History hasn’t announced season 24 of American Pickers, Mike Wolfe’s passion for the show and his recent Instagram post are encouraging signs that it’s headed into the pipeline.
