CSI’s Paul Guilfoyle Would Get Lots Of Confused Comments When Admitting He Never Watched The Show

In an interview with Digital Spy in May 2012, Paul Guilfoyle spoke about his time on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation when the show was in the middle of its 12th season. During the conversation, Guilfoyle revealed that although he starred in it, he never watched CSI.

When asked about collaborating with the writers on story ideas, Guilfoyle said he would on occasion, although more often than not he was just doing his part and acting out what was already written for him. He then revealed a key detail as to why he might not be fully equipped to offer ideas for his character. Guilfoyle said, “You know, I’m not looking [the show] – this kind confuses people! They say, ‘What? Aren’t you looking at it?’ and I was like, ‘No, I don’t want to know who’s sleeping with whom!’”

Although Guilfoyle hasn’t seen the show himself, he has expressed his love for the fans and their reactions. The actor said: “[The fans] are all great people. It’s great.” d
