The Number Of Covid Cases And Hospitalizations Reduces As Vaccination Count Increases
The polls indicate improvement in the situation as 80% of the adults in the United States are either vaccinated or plan to take the vaccine.
The average count of new Covid-19 cases each day in the United States is nearly 1,10,000. The count is declared by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The everyday average count in September was an additional 50,000 new Covid-19 cases.
According to the data from Johns Hopkins University, most of the states are observing a decline in the hospitalization and count of new Covid-19 cases.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director said, “the weekly average number of hospitalizations is also low by 17% from last week.” Dr. Walensly further added, “currently, 57,000 people are hospitalized due to Covid-19 infection.”
Despite a decline in the number of cases and hospitalizations, the number of deaths stays elevated. The average daily count of deaths in the United States due to Covid-19 is 2,000 per day. The New York Times released the data.
The polls suggest that as much as 80% of adults in the United States are either fully vaccinated or are ready to take the vaccine in the coming future. But it also means that 20% of the adult population is still unvaccinated and is unlikely to take the vaccine. A survey done by The Gallup shows that 5% of the adults in America have had Covid-19 or are positive for antibody presence in their body.
Biden imposed vaccine requirements for all federal government employees and private sector works.
The poll, however, said, ” 80% of vaccinated Americans do not meet the standards for preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Neither of these numbers fulfills Biden’s mandate of vaccine for several workers. But these reports certainly ensure some level of protection to those reluctant to get vaccinated.” They further added, ” we are not sure about how well and for how long will this help protect the unvaccinated.”
Surveys also showed that 30% of employees reported that their employer mandated vaccination. The number earlier was as low as 10%. These mandates throughout the United States can be supremely effective in increasing the number of vaccination in the nation.
The White House made vaccination mandatory for all health care professionals.
Hospitals are also under the fear that staff members will quit or accept the suspension in place of getting vaccinated.
The mandate for health care workers is beneficial in the protection and safety of the patients. It aims to create a safe working environment. Unfortunately, the healthcare workers preferred to resign instead of getting vaccinated.
Vaccination mandates are meant to improve the Covid-19 situation in the United States. But it is bringing other problematic issues for the administration to resolve.
