What is the plot of Advance Forward and will you find your true colors?

The anime begins with Hiiro Kitayama, a vocational student studying design who is attending a design class along with several other students. Everyone works to come up with a sneaker design and they have to decide on a color theme/scheme.

After class, Hiiro overhears some design students contemplating their future and plans. One plans an internship and Hiiro realizes how impatient he is about his own future. While riding the train home, Hiiro uses an app on his phone to search for jobs and finds a cool looking website. He watches a video of a guy giving advice on the meaning of color and recommends a book he’s read.

Hiiro decides to buy the recommended book titled True Colors, which talks about the importance of color, and the color test. He studies the book and gains more knowledge about the emotions that certain colors and color combinations can evoke in people.

The next day, Hiiro is finally able to impress his teacher in his design class with a sneaker design that is blue with pink accents and is very eye-catching. Things start to improve for Hiiro and next we see that he is the newbie in a new company working on a design advertisement. At the end he is asked if he will be interviewed.
