The first trailer PV of Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill has been released, revealing another cast member from the series.

Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill anime release date is scheduled for January 2023, Winter 2023 anime season.

The anime was first announced last month in October 2022 and along with the announcement, a teaser visual and the main cast and personnel details were also revealed.

The trailer PV introduces the main characters and gives an insight into the premise of the anime. It has also been announced that Maya Uchida (Melty in The Rising of the Shield Hero) is joining the cast as Ninrir, the goddess of wind.

The main cast includes:

  • Yuma Uchida (Kyou Souma in Fruits Basket) as Tsuyoshi Mukouda
  • Satoshi Hino (dress worn by Ainz Ooal in Overlord) as the devil
  • Hina Kino (Hanako Honda in Asobi Asobase: Workshop of Fun) as Sui

Kiyoshi Matsuda is directing the anime at Studio MAPPA. Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill is MAPPA’s first isekai anime!

Michiko Yokote is in charge of the series’ scripts. Nao Otsu adapts Masa’s original character designs for animation. Masato Koda, Kana Utatade and the Kuricorder Quartet will compose the music.

Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, also known in Japan as Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi, is an upcoming anime based on the light novel series of the same name by Ren Eguchi.

The novel series was first published on the novel posting website Shosetsuka ni Naro but was later acquired by Overlap. Overlap publishes the series, with illustrations by Masa, under their Overlap Novels label. Twelve volumes have been published to date.

The J-Novel Club licensed the light novel for English publication in North America. Eleven volumes have been published so far.

The series also received a manga adaptation with illustrations by Akagishi K. The manga is being serialized on Comic Gardo’s manga website. The individual chapters of the series have so far been compiled into eight Tankobon volumes.

J-Novel Club has also licensed the manga adaptation for English release in North America.
