Eren Yeager’s final Awakening of the Titans in the series has a true name, according to Attack on Titan’s original creator!
The third (and probably final) part of the fourth and final season of the anime is currently being edited, however the original manga series ended quite some time ago.
Fans are now arguing about whether the series’ conclusion is that good and whether the anime would accurately adapt it. However, these are by far the only questions viewers had after the show ended.
Final form of the Titan of Eren
Attack on Titan: Final Season Part 2 prepares for the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD home media release in other countries and the show official twitter account has shared some nifty new artwork of Eren’s recent transformation, which viewers will see at the end of Part 2 episodes.
Series creator Hajime Isayama offered the name of this new form to the anime staff as this form was never given an official name as part of the original manga. The name “Final Titan” was given to this Eren form, as fans would have predicted.
Check out the official tweet below:
Neither during the entire manga run of the series nor during the current anime season did Eren’s final transformation (at least for now) get its correct name. Eren used the Founding Titan’s power to create this form and after holding Zeke and his blood captive, he released them along with the Rumble to wipe out the rest of the world outside of the island of Paradis.
Fans can’t wait to see how the anime wraps up this story, as this is where the terrifying form of the Final Titan took shape at the end of the second part.
Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3: What we know so far
Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3 will premiere sometime around the winter 2023 anime release schedule. Since it’s been verified to be in production, there haven’t been many updates. While it’s likely that this will be the anime’s final appearance, the franchise as a whole could continue after that.
The Attack on Titan Final Season SPECIAL EVENT 2022 was recently announced to commemorate the release of the final season of the series. This event is in addition to the home video releases of Attack on Titan: The Final Season – Part 2 and the upcoming release of Part 3.
An orchestral concert featuring works by series composer Kohta Yamamoto will open the event, which is scheduled to begin on November 13, 202w. The event will also have a voice actor panel featuring Yuki Kaji (Eren), Marina Inoue (Armin), Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa), Kisho Taniyama (Jean), and Ayane Sakura (Gabi).
