As announced in a recent WarnerMedia press release on BroadwayWorld.com, the adult animated HBO Max series Harley Quinn has secured its future, at least for now, after being renewed for a fourth season on the streamer. AV Club’s Jenna Scherer scored an outstanding 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and raves that “Harley Quinn” “continues to fire on all cylinders.” At the same time, SlashFilm hailed the show as “a breath of fresh air” as it serves up “a big, sloppy, high-calorie, and utterly enjoyable milkshake of chaos.”
In the same press release, Billy Wee, HBO’s Max Sr. VP of Comedy & Animation, highlighted the recording of Season 4 for “Harley Quinn,” saying, “An incredible team of artists and writers created something so explosively funny and original we did We’re thrilled to continue this journey with them and the show’s legion of fans.” Wee added that it’s been an “amazing” experience to see the series flourish thanks to the production’s expanded roster of talented industry peers.
Other upcoming DC Extended Universe titles to follow Harley Quinn are considered safe from the cancellation axe, according to The Hollywood Reporter: Black Adam, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and, despite Ezra Miller’s most recent alleged Escapades, “The Flash”. “
