American Horror Story TV Review

This show is superbly written and adult-oriented, with a new story each season featuring the same cast in new roles and new settings, and some seasons even connect in unexpected ways. Still, it’s clearly a horror film. There’s a lot of sex in this movie, but I didn’t find it excessive (and no nudity other than the occasional butt). There are provocative settings, drug and alcohol use, and plenty of dark/violent scenarios, with some gratuitous blood and gore thrown in for good measure. Some seasons contain a bit more or less of these components to varying degrees, but overall it’s a mature program.

The TV-MA rating indicates that this series is intended for an adult audience only, as some of the content featured in the series may be unsuitable for children under the age of 17, so parental supervision is recommended.
