A Turtle’s Shell is a Human’s Ribs release date is October 28, 2022.
The new trailer of A Turtle’s Shell is a Human’s Ribs reveals more from the cast. Screened during Anime Expo 2022, the film is based on an experimental picture book by Satoshi Kawasaki.
The book shows how animal bodies work when they are part of a human body. For example, a turtle’s shell is like a human’s rib cage, and a flamingo’s knee is like a human’s ankle.
What is a turtle shell are a human’s ribs?
A turtle’s shell is a human’s ribs may look scary, but the plot of the film is familiar. Kameda Kameta is an ordinary sophomore with a boring school life.
He keeps to himself but when his best friend, El Takashi Kaerugawa, is in the news after helping people. The school’s superstars take an interest in Kameda.
Lion Temple Rai wants to be president of the student council. Kaeru River joins her group, but Tameda can’t help feeling jealous and inferior to everyone around him.
Will their friendship survive and what will happen when the bone-to-bone collision session begins during the student council election? The range of animal characteristics includes known and new characteristics.
The trailers show a lot of variety and the music is excellent. The film will air in Japan on October 28, 2022.

Samesei is a very talented shark boy!
When we hear “shark” we probably think of being bitten and being dragged underwater. The latest video on ASMIK Ace’s YouTube channel shows a clip featuring Samesei.
He likes to bite things and seems to levitate! But he proves his skills even further by biting into a mic and singing “Can I Bite?”
It’s a cute scene that makes me hope we take the film abroad! Masa Mori is directing and co-writing the script with Shinichi Tanaka at Type ZERO.
Studio Outrigger developed the project and the theme song is Like by OCTPATH.
