It’s not entirely clear what kind of technology is at the heart of the bizarre goings on in 2019’s “Vivarium,” but it’s definitely having an extremely negative impact on the lives of reluctant new homeowners and parents Tom (Jesse Eisenberg) and Gemma (Imogen Poots). out of ways. His seemingly limitless ability to capture and subjugate anyone unfortunate enough to trespass within his confines propels him beyond simple tech phobia and into the realm of a living nightmare.
