President Donald Trump tweeted on Saturday morning that he may have to interfere in FBI operations if they don’t release fired deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe’s text messages related to his wife’s 2015 state senate campaign.
“Why isn’t the FBI giving Andrew McCabe text messages to Judicial Watch or appropriate governmental authorities,” he tweeted. “FBI said they won’t give up even one (I may have to get involved, DO NOT DESTROY). What are they hiding? McCabe wife took big campaign dollars from Hillary people…..”
Around five hours later or so, Trump also thought he’d tweet about Christopher Steele, the former British spy who authored a dossier alleging collusion between the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia.
This was also another discreet attack against the FBI, since recently 71-pages were released by the the bureau showing payments to Steele. Trump is doing anything he can to discredit the dossier and anyone linked to it: that’s what compelled him to bring in Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr and “his beautiful wife, Nelly.”
“The big story that the Fake News Media refuses to report is lowlife Christopher Steele’s many meetings with Deputy A.G. Bruce Ohr and his beautiful wife, Nelly. It was Fusion GPS that hired Steele to write the phony & discredited Dossier, paid for by Crooked Hillary & the DNC….,” said President Trump.
Why is it that every time a woman is involved, Trump has to bring looks into it? He rarely does that with men. Do you think he was really complimenting her on her looks, or do you think it’s more likely he was taking a dig at her?
Trump was likely watching a skit on Fox News about it when they showed this picture of the two.
Sarcastic, insulting comments from the president aside – the House Judiciary Committee is looking to make a deal of the issue, too, now that midterm elections are right around the corner.
“We plan to interview the people noted in the coming weeks and we will issue subpoenas to compel their attendance if necessary, a committee aide said in an email to The Epoch Times.
This isn’t a new story, though. Fox News has been harping about Bruce Ohr and his wife for months. The big crime is that Ohr committed some type of ethical infraction by the mere fact that he hired his wife. That’s it. We must note, however, that we can’t find evidence anywhere of anyone commenting on her looks, except for President Trump’s tweet this morning, that is.
