The Simpsons, the long-running animated sitcom, just eviscerated President Donald Trump in a new series that will surely make him blow a gasket when he sees it.
The animated sitcom features a meeting between Special Counsel Robert Mueller and Trump arranged by Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Mueller is supervising the investigation into allegations that Russia interfered in the 2016 election and possible collusion between Russians and the Trump campaign.
In The Simpsons new short, Sessions asked Mueller to get inside a vehicle that brought them to the Trump hotel. The Special Counsel was pushed into a room where Trump was waiting for him.
The President said, “Oh, Hi Bob, come in. Don’t worry I’m not gonna fire you. I wanna share something to you.” Then he pulled a string and showered him with cash. He said, “That’s $750 million Bob. Huge bribe! There’s never been a bigger one. I do the best bribes everyone says so.”
Mueller than tried to read Trump his Miranda rights. Trump then stated, Pardon me. Mueller said, I said you—then Trump interrupted him. “Oh, I’m not talking to you. I tried to pardon myself. Mueller stressed, “It won’t work!”
Then he tried to bribe the Special Counsel to become judge of Miss Universe beauty pageant. He said, “If you wanna see this…girls, just go in the door that says ‘don’t go in.” Mueller leaves the room.
Congressman Adam Schiff, ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, recently stated that the evidence of conspiracy between Russians and Trump is “pretty damning.”
“The Russians offered help. The campaign accepted help. The Russians gave help. And the president made full use of that help. And that’s pretty damning, whether it is proof beyond a reasonable doubt of conspiracy or not,” said Schiff during an interview with CNN.
