Maker Of Anti-Planned Parenthood Videos Gets A Knock On His Door, And LOOK: It’s Karma

David Daleiden, the man behind the false Planned Parenthood videos that Republicans insist on using as evidence that Planned Parenthood is evil and should be defunded and closed down, just got smacked in the face with karma. California investigators raided his home and took hard drives and his personal laptop. Daleiden is accused of recording without consent, using false identification, and breaking confidentiality agreements.

This is in addition to the indictment he faces in Texas for using false ID and for attempting to buy human tissue, which is illegal. Daleiden, of course, maintains his innocence and insists that Planned Parenthood has bought California’s investigators and attorney general, Kamala Harris. He also believes that everything he’s done is his First Amendment right:

“This is no surprise — Planned Parenthood’s bought-and-paid-for AG has steadfastly refused to enforce the law against the baby body parts traffickers in our state, or even investigate them–while at the same time doing their bidding to harass and intimidate citizen journalists. We will pursue all remedies to vindicate our First Amendment rights.”

Of course he would say that – he’s a professional liar. In his full statement, Daleiden also suggested that the raid was politically motivated because Harris is running for the U.S. Senate this year. That, too, is not surprising – he’ll say anything. His counsel, Matt Heffron, will do so as well, since he said:

“To storm into a private citizen’s home with a search warrant is outrageously out of proportion for the type of crime alleged.”

Doesn’t Heffron, who is a former prosecutor, understand how search warrants work? He’s acting like the search warrant itself was illegal, or something. Heffron would have a point if the investigators didn’t have the warrant, but since they did, then a court must have felt that the state had sufficient reason to search Daleiden’s home.

Planned Parenthood does not have everyone in their pockets, whatever Daleiden’s delusions tell him.

The Center for Medical Progress continues to maintain, on their Facebook page, that Planned Parenthood works with Stem Express to profit off the sale of baby parts. The Center for Medical Progress, which is anything but a center for medical progress, continues to push the Planned Parenthood lies, despite the fact that the lies are unraveling at an ever-increasing rate:

California is the focal point of Planned Parenthood’s illegal baby-parts-for-profit scheme. StemExpress partnered with…

The truth is, it’s time to get to the bottom of this and put Daleiden behind bars where he belongs. This whole thing is eerily similar to the way that James O’Keefe brought down ACORN in 2009, and it smells very bad because of it.

This is called karma, and Daleiden is getting a lot of it right now. Republicans need to finally wake the f*ck up and take their sights off of Planned Parenthood, and fight for things that really matter.
