BREAKING: Mueller Just Subpoenaed Trump’s Bank Accounts; Trump Throws a Fit

Over the past few days, President Donald Trump has been throwing a fit because of several issues including the Special Counsel’s investigation into the alleged Russian interference in the U.S. election and possible collusion with his campaign.

In fact, the President is so furious with the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Take note that the DOJ appointed Special Counsel Robert Mueller III to supervise the FBI’s Russian investigation after he fired former Director James Comey.

In one of his tweets, Trump said the FBI is in shambles. He also slams an FBI agent who led the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s e-mails and a top investigator for Mueller.

Today, Bloomberg reported that Special Counsel Robert Mueller expanded his Russian investigation. He is now looking into Trump’s bank records. According to media outlet, Mueller issued a subpoena demanding Deutsche Bank provide documents regarding its relationship with the President and his family several weeks ago.

In a statement, Deutsche Bank said it “always cooperates with investigating authorities in all countries.”

Trump has a deep relationship with Deutsche Bank. He owed the bank nearly $300 million, which represents almost 50% of his outstanding debt, according to Bloomberg.

A U.S. official familiar with Mueller’s investigation told Reuters that the Special Counsel wants to find out whether Deutsche Bank sold some of Trump’s loans to VEB, a Russian state development bank or other Russian banks athat are currently under U.S. and E.U. sanctions.

Many believe that the new about the Deutsche Bank subpoena will intensify Trump’s anger towards Mueller and FBI investigators. During an interview with the New York Times in July, Trump said if Muller would look into his family’s bank accounts, it would be a violation.

One of Trump’s personal lawyers, Jay Sekulow said the reports that Mueller subpoenaed Deutsche Bank is false. He told Reuters,  “No subpoena has been issued or received. We have confirmed this with the bank and other sources.”

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said the report that Mueller is investigating the President’s finances is an example of media going too far, too fast. She said they don’t see Mueller’s investigation going in that direction.
